Engagement at Mount Baker
Early June is an odd time to be in the mountains in Washington state—the peaks are still inaccessible & covered in snow, ski season has passed but summer hiking season hasn’t quite started—and the result is a quiet atmosphere with near total privacy! If you’re flexible to account for transition season weather, June in the mountains is truly remarkable.
Skagit Valley Forest Elopement
This forest wedding took place on land that has been in their family for generations. Off a quiet rural backroad in Skagit County, these two beautiful souls invited their friends and family to come walk in the woods to where they had set up a circle of tree stumps as chairs.
Lake Tahoe Wedding Adventure Hike
This hiking wedding on the north shore of Lake Tahoe was a sweet “just us” moment for an adventurous couple who also had a larger, more traditional wedding surrounded by their loves ones. The best of both worlds!
New Mexico Elopement at Pecos
A truly southwest style wedding at Pecos National Park in Santa Fe, followed by sunset portraits with a vintage car in the national forest.
El Rancho De Las Golondrinas Wedding
El Rancho de las Golondrinas is an LGBT-friendly wedding venue in the southwest desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico. On a sunny day during monsoon season, Sara & Gabs got married at the base of an ancient cottonwood grove.
Sunset at Locust Beach in Bellingham
A quick couple’s session at Locust Beach in Bellingham, Washington to celebrate 6 years together! E & H come from entirely different corners of the world—she from England, he from Ohio. But they’ve found common ground in the PNW living a life full of adventure!
Forest Wedding in Ruidoso
This intimate family wedding in Ruidoso, New Mexico boasted intricate details, a quiet forest ceremony, and a short hike for stunning portraits in the mountains!
Wintery Elopement in Bandalier
Bandelier National Forest is an area outside of Los Alamos, New Mexico and only a short drive from Santa Fe or Albuquerque. This mountainous region is home to some of the greenest forests of the state, historic calderas from ancient volcanos, and beautiful overlooks of the mountains.
San Diego Marina Wedding
This boat wedding in the San Diego Marina was stunning! The golden sunset light was perfect during the ceremony, and the small collection of dear friends who came together to celebrate A & J were the most supportive, loving folks. I couldn’t image a more perfect way to get married with your loved ones present!
Hiking Elopement at White Sands National Park
D & B’s elopement at White Sands National Park began at the Alkali Flat Trailhead—one of the only established hiking trails amongst the dunes, and the best place to watch the sunset at White Sands. It’s truly one of the most unique landscapes you’ll ever see!
Backyard Elopement Adventure
J & L planned the sweetest backyard ceremony for their elopement in Taos, New Mexico! They rented out an adorable classic adobe home within walking distance of downtown and invited no one but their dog, Amelia. From getting ready together, to watching the sun set behind the Sangre de Cristo mountains, I cant imagine a more perfect day!
Sunrise Elopement in Lone Pine
This elopement in Lone Pine, California began began before sunrise with C & E getting dressed by the light of their Tacoma’s headlamps. Then, as alpenglow hit Mt. Whitney they said their vows. It was a perfect fall morning, complete with dirt bikes and a coffee break. I can’t imagine a better way to get married!
Windy Elopement at White Sands
This windy elopement at White Sands National Park near Las Cruces New Mexico might have been the best sunset I’ve ever seen there! The winds were so strong the grains of sand flowed past our feet like water, and all the particles in the air caught the light to add drama to the golden colors.
Mountain Cabin Family Photos
It’s not often I do family sessions, but I always love them! Family sessions are an opportunity to relax and show your silly sides, not pose for photos like this is JC Penny’s in the 90s. We want to see your real, authentic selves! Extra bonus points if you bring your dog.
Elope at Bridal Veil Falls
Colorado is one of the best places in the world to elope! Choose from mountain villages, waterfalls, hikes of all distances and difficulties, and appreciate this colorful landscape for all the adventures it offers.
Elopement in the Sedona Desert
This desert wedding explored one of my favorite, lesser-known corners of Sedona. The desert of the southwest was on full, colorful display this evening as D & A said their vows while the orange rocks of craggy spires turned red all around them.
Rio Grande Gorge Engagement
Engagement photos at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge in Taos, New Mexico | This sweet couple’s session took place two days before C & D tied the knot in The Land of Enchantment. It was cold and a little snowy, but the sun was shining!
Engagement Photos in Flagstaff, Arizona
Engagement Photos in Flagstaff, Arizona | Check out these stunning sunset photos from a recent engagement session in Flagstaff. This was a discounted add-on to an elopement photo package, and a perfect way for the couple to get comfortable in front of the camera before their big day!
Backyard wedding in the Taos Ski Valley
The DIY details of this backyard wedding were stunning! From the handmade wooden arch decorated with gorgeous flowers, to the table decor and close-to-nature vibes weaved into each aspect of this wedding with intention—I was blown away!
Married in a Snow Storm in Santa Fe, NM
M & M decided to get married in Santa Fe many months before their date, but never could have guessed Feb. 2nd would see one of the harshest snow storms this corner of New Mexico had experienced in years! All their plans went out the window and instead of a hiking ceremony, they shared their vows in the balcony of their hotel. They were determined to enjoy the ride, and these two had the happiest/most memorable wedding day!
