Wintery Elopement in Bandalier

Check out photos from their engagement session in Taos!

After getting ready at Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe, C & D drove about 30 minutes out of town to an area near Los Alamos, New Mexico. It’s a spot that is part of the Bandalier National Forest, and an accessible hike from a parking lot along the highway. It was a chilly January afternoon, but the sun was out to warm us a little, and eventually set behind a dramatic bank of clouds. Meanwhile, silhouettes of juniper and sage along the desert floor cast stunning shadows.

After a sweet, teary-eyed vow exchange overlooking the surrounding desert, C & D hikes on farther to get some couples portraits and celebrate the momentous occasion!
