Backyard wedding in the Taos Ski Valley

This backyard wedding took place in the tiny town of Valdez, New Mexico—it’s a mid-way stop between Taos and the Taos Ski Valley, making it the ideal place for folks who love the mountains! K&D love living in New Mexico, so they wanted to get married in a location that felt a little like home, but had the same adventurous charm as a vacation. At 8000 feet, homes in Valdez feel about as “deep in the mountains” as you can get!

On a sunny afternoon in October, they said “I do” surrounded by golden aspens, a babbling brook, and their loved ones. Their dogs, named “Beef” and “Chicken” stood by on their best behavior.
