Hiking Elopement at White Sands National Park

D & B’s elopement at White Sands National Park began at the Alkali Flat Trailhead—one of the only established hiking trails amongst the dunes, and the best place to watch the sunset at White Sands (in my opinion). We were met there by Anna, who officiated the ceremony. After saying their vows and “I do,” we walked further off into the dunes to find some privacy. This wedding includes a couple of my favorite landscape shots I’ve ever taken at this park, and I’ve photographed here a lot!
