R & D chose Fragrance Lake for their anniversary session because it was one of the few hikes off Chuckanut Drive they had not yet done since moving to Bellingham a few months prior. It was a perfect, sunny afternoon and we only saw a few other people the whole time we were hiking!

This sunrise session at Artist Point—near the Mount Baker Ski Area outside Bellingham, Washington—was absolutely perfect! The skies were unusually clear, the alpenglow on-point, and the dogs were cute as can be. This stunning family in one of the most beautiful places on earth resulted in pictures truly spectacular!

E & B chose White Sands for their engagement photo session because it was actually their first choice of a wedding venue. But, when they realized getting all their favorite humans together in the remote park would prove too difficult, they still wanted to honor their love of wild desert spaces.

What could be more epic than getting married in a hot air balloon?! This elopement in Albuquerque, New Mexico gave “adventure” a new meaning—congratulations to this incredible couple!

In July 2019 we invited a dozen of our favorite people to a remote spot in the eastern California desert—our wedding invites had GPS coordinates, it was that “out there!” Amongst towering granite boulders at the foot of Mt. Whitney, we got married in a very laid-back elopement ceremony.

Ariana & Taylor are the cutest little family traveling the US with their dog Nelson in a custom camper trailer! I met up with them for the afternoon in Breckenridge, Colorado at the height of the season to witness Aspens changing color. Surrounded by golden trees and a stunning view at the Peak One Campground, I documented a moment in this family’s adventurous life.

The weather was perfect, the views of the surrounding peaks were clear, and this couple were down for the adventure. They got married surrounded by only their closest family and then hiked Skyline Divide Trail before coming back to their Airbnb rental for a private dinner.
