Choose from the Taos Ski Valley if you love mountain views, or get out on the plateau for a vast desert landscape.
New Mexico Aspen Grove Elopement
This elopement wedding in Santa Fe, New Mexico features a cute dog, a gorgeous sunset, a dried flower bouquet & one of the most incredible groves of aspen trees I’ve ever seen! Check out this blog for more images from this NM elopement & get inspired to plan your own adventure wedding in the southwest.
Santa Fe Elopement
This Santa Fe, New Mexico elopement took place at V&A’s gorgeous adobe-style home in the hills. We explored their quiet neighborhood, their beautiful garden, & watched the sunset from a viewpoint of the mountains just across the street from their house. This adventurous couple didn’t let COVID cancel their wedding plans, but they did things a little differently to adjust to the situation.
Cannon Beach Elopement
This adventurous elopement on the Oregon coast explored some my favorite destinations in the Pacific Northwest– the forests & beach of Hug Point, & a secret cliffside elopement location. Check it out for inspiration to help you plan your own Oregon coast elopement!
Cape Flattery Elopement
This elopement at Cape Flattery in October occurred during the only sunny hours of an otherwise dramatically stormy weekend! K & T were ecstatic when the deluge of rain stopped minutes before the ceremony and we were able to proceed as planned–hike to the northernmost point in the contiguous United States so they could say, “I do.”
Neah Bay
This adventurous couples session on the Washington coast was a bonus adventure to K & T’s wedding weekend. We explored the rocky beaches of the Olympic Peninsula the day before these two got married at Cape Flattery – they truly got to see the best of the PNW during their weekend elopement!
Columbia River Gorge
This couples session at Latourell Falls took place at one of my favorite Oregon waterfall hikes! Did you know there are more than 200 amazing waterfalls in Oregon that you can hike out to?! They make the perfect backdrop for your engagement, elopement or small outdoor wedding!
Astoria, Oregon
This Astoria, Oregon couples session began on the coast near the Peter Iredale shipwreck - we explored along the mossy coastal forests & then went downtown to Astoria historic waterfront shops & adventured amongst the beautiful old buildings!
Guemes Island Anniversary Session
This anniversary session on Guemes Island celebrated 30+ years of marriage for Walt & Sandy as they weathered the effects of COVID-19 from their island home. Guemes is an island in the San Juans, north of Seattle in Washington state – it is the perfect place for a romantic wedding or elopement, anniversary session, or adventure session in the Pacific Northwest!
Latourell Falls
This Latourell Falls couple’s session in the Columbia River Gorge, just outside Portland, Oregon took place on a moody winter morning. But K & G made the most of it and embraced the PNW vibes to stand before this stunning waterfall! The Gorge is one of my favorite places to elope near Portland, as you’ll see from the stunning scenery in these images.
Hug Point
Hug Point is one of my favorite beach locations for an engagement shoot, couples session, or adventurous elopement near Portland, Oregon on the coast. There are forested trails, gorgeous cliffs, and even a waterfall that flows directly into the ocean. It is also one of the most accessible beach destinations in Oregon that isn’t super crowded all the time.
Ecola State Park
This rainy autumn elopement on the Oregon coast at Ecola State Park was truly a PNW mood – we never saw the sun once all day! Despite the rain, it was a beautiful day on the Oregon coast to elope & this couple embraced the rain like the true Oregonians they are.
Witch’s Castle in Forest Park
This bridal-style portrait session took place at the Witches Castle in Forest Park. The old stone building, deep within the forest of Portland, Oregon is the perfect location for a Pacific Northwest portrait session! In fact, all of Forest Park is ideal for those who love the deep greens, lingering fog, & lush environment of the PNW.
