Located near Alamogordo in southern New Mexico, this southwest national park is one of the most unique landscapes on earth. The gypsum crystals that make up the dunes are soft, reflective, and surprisingly colorful—depending on the weather and color in the sky, the dunes themselves will reflect their surrounding environment. I’m a local White Sands photographer who knows the park extremely well, and I can not only capture your big moment but also recommend locations within the park, as well as what dates and time are best for visiting this barren landscape.
