Bellingham Beach Engagement Photos
Bellingham has many beaches that make the perfect backdrop for engagement photos! This one, Locust Beach, has a long shoreline with views of the city of Bellingham that shine at sunset and Lummi Island to the north.
Sunset Elopement at Artist Point
This sunset elopement at Artist Point was one of the most beautiful evenings I've ever witnessed at this iconic Washington mountaintop venue! From the moment we met at Picture Lake until we hiked out to Huntoon Point for star photos, the dramatic lighting made every image feel like a fairytale.
Winchester Lookout Sunrise Elopement
The fire lookout at Winchester Mountain might be my favorite location for a sunrise elopement in Washington state! The lookout itself is open to overnight camping on a first-come basis. If you want to hike up at sunrise, it'll only take about an hour to reach the top from the trailhead. Be aware that the road to this trailhead is rough and unpaved, but the views are worth it!
Sailing Elopement in the San Juan Islands of Washington state
This elopement took place on Cypress Island after sailing across the Bellingham Channel from Guemes Island. It was a traditionally overcast PNW spring day, and the clouds were thick, but rain held off throughout the ceremony, hike, and beach picnic. It was a perfect island elopemen for these two!
Washington Rainforest Elopement
Theres no place more beautiful, romantic, or inspiring than the old-growth forests of the Hoh rainforest in Washington state. Part of Olympic National Park, this Washington rainforest is one of my favorite places for couples to elope in the PNW!
June Proposal at Mount Rainier
This early summer proposal took place at Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park on a typically snowy day in June. The couple, who had traveled up from a warm climate and lower elevation were amazed by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest!
Ecola State Park Wedding
This wedding took place on Earth Day in Cannon Beach, Oregon with a cliffside ceremony at Ecola State Park. The location was perfect for this couple, who deeply love nature and The Goonies (anyone recognize that location from the film?!) Details include the most beautiful floral wedding dress, a stunning sunset, and some incredible Oregon coast nature venues!
Hall of Mosses & Ruby Beach Elopement
This Hoh Rainforest elopement started with a rainy hike through the Hall of Mosses and ended with a beautiful sunset at Ruby Beach. This couple enjoyed the best of the wild PNW and celebrated their relationship in the most authentic way!
Sunrise Elopement in Yosemite Valley
A beautiful elopement in Yosemite that began with a sunrise hike to a view over the valley, and ended with a sunset at the base of El Capitan. The perfect collection of inspiration photos for couples who are considering an adventurous wedding or elopement in Yosemite National Park!
Anniversary in Tamarindo, Costa Rica
Tamarindo is one of my favorite beach towns in Costa Rica! It’s busier than many other places, so take that into consideration, but it’s popular for a reason. The beaches are stunning, endless stretches of beautiful sand. The food is plentiful and delicious, and there are endless unique places to stay. I highly recommend adding Tamarindo to your list of Costa Rica destinations!
Redwoods National Park Elopement
Want to elope amongst giant redwood trees in one of the most beautiful old-growth forests on earth? Redwood National Park should be at the top of your list! This northern California elopement location is absolutely stunning, truly wild, and incredibly romantic.
Sunset at Secret Beach
Have you heard of Secret Beach near Brookings, Oregon? Honestly, it’s not such a secret anymore. But this beautiful semi-secluded coastal treasure is still one of the best places in the PNW to enjoy a beautiful sunset (or sunrise) elopement!
Autumn Elopement at Picture Lake
This elopement at Picture Lake began at an A-frame cabin in Glacier, WA and ended with a beautiful sunset at Artist Point. It took the best of a Washington summer in the mountain to the brink of a crisp autumn evening. It was a beautiful farewell to warm weather this year.
Engagement Photos at Mount Rainier
Mount Rainier National Park is one of the most beautiful and unique locations in the US for engagement photos, proposals, adventure elopements, and weddings. If you love the mountains, this is the place for you!
North Cascades Elopement
I’ve photographed quite a few elopements in the North Cascades, and each one is incredibly beautiful in it’s own way. This August elopement has some of the most dramatic sunset colors I’ve ever witnessed!
Mount Baker Elopement
This Mount Baker elopement began with a sunrise hike for the couple to enjoy a moment alone, followed by an intimate ceremony with a dozen of their loved ones on a rocky outcropping with incomparable views of Shuksan and Kulshan.
North Cascades Wedding Ceremony
This North Cascades wedding ceremony took place on a rocky ledge overlooking a stunning view of Mount Baker. The hike up is steep, but take your time and enjoy all the wildflowers along the way!
Skinny Dipping in an Alpine Lake
A beautiful queer couple strip down to their matching Calvin Klein underwear and have a romantic swim in a North Cascades alpine lake.
Love and Sand Dunes in Brookings
The day before these two got married, we explored the Oregon coast just north of Brookings and enjoyed an afternoon on the beach amongst the sand dunes.
Anniversary Session in Bellingham
July is Disability Pride Month, and I’ve never been more proud of anything than I am of how Dillen has adapted since becoming an amputee after a traumatic bike accident. He works harder than anyone I know to make his days as good as possible under circumstances he never imagined for his life. So this is a celebration of my love <3
